I went in hoping to find a few styles and colours I liked, but the range felt limited. Always fun when shopping gets easier because there’s barely anything to choose from.

"No weird smell like some others I’ve tried"
I opened it up expecting that strong plastic smell you sometimes get with products like this, but there really wasn’t any. Compared to a couple of similar ones I’ve bought before, this was way better right out of the box. I just gave it a quick wipe and was able to use it the same day. Really happy with it so far.

"Looks nice, but not quite what I expected"
The mat actually looks decent in the room, but at the same time it feels smaller than I expected once it’s laid out. It’s also thinner than I thought it would be, which was a bit disappointing for the price. I don’t hate it, but I’m not totally happy with it either

"Pretty easy setup, even for me"
As someone who isn’t super handy with this kind of stuff, I was pleasantly surprised. It took me a little while to get everything set up, but the installation went fine overall.

"Looks Nice, Just a Bit Much"
I do like the way it looks overall and it definitely has a nice style to it, but once I had it in front of me I felt like there was just a lot going on at once and it came across a little busier than I expected.

"Pretty much what I expected"
The item looked really close to what was shown online, and the colors and size were exactly as expected. I took off one star because the fabric felt just a little different than I thought it would, but overall I’m still happy with it. I’d say it’s worth considering if you like how it looks in the photos...

"I got this play mat hoping it..."
I got this play mat hoping it would help with my toddler stomping around like a tiny elephant, it really has made the room a lot quieter. It doesn’t block every single sound, of course, but it definitely takes the edge off and makes the chaos feel way more manageable.

It’s definitely a bit on the expensive side, but the quality makes it feel worth it for us. You can tell it’s well made, and that gives me peace of mind. In the end, I’d rather spend a little more on something that actually feels reliable and makes us happy...

"Looked better online, and support wasn’t much help"
I was disappointed with this. It looked really nice in the photos, but once I got it, it felt a lot cheaper than I expected. After just some light use, it already wasn’t holding up well, which was frustrating for the price. I reached out to support, but it felt like they were blaming me for the issue instead of trying to help. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Comfy mat, just wish it stayed flatter"
Overall, I like this mat. It looks nice and has a soft, comfy feel, and my kid seems happy with it too. The only downside is that it didn’t fully lay flat for us. After a few days, the edges started curling up a bit, which can be kind of annoying when you’re walking around it. It’s still usable and decent for the space, I just wish the edges stayed down better.

"Cute mat, but the wear showed up too soon"
I bought this play mat because it looked really cute, and it does look nice in the room. But the timing was kind of frustrating, after only a few weeks, it’s already showing some marks and little signs of wear. It’s still usable, but for the price, I really expected it to hold up better and not start looking worn right away

Really happy with this so far. We end up moving it between the lounge and the bedroom quite a bit, and it’s not a pain like I thought it might be. When we need the space back, it tucks away easily too. For our little place, it’s been one of those things that just makes things simpler.

"Way heavier than I thought"
I thought this would be a lot easier to move around, but it feels heavy and awkward, especially when I’m trying to get it through tighter spaces or shift it around quickly, and after using it a bit I just don’t think it’s something I’d want to deal with every day

The mat looks really nice, but I’m not sure if anyone else has had this issue — it doesn’t feel as non-slip as I hoped. On our tile floor, it still shifts around when my toddler runs over it or pushes toys across it. I expected it to grip a bit better for the price. It’s not awful, but a little disappointing.

I bought a mat from munchkinandbear.com.au and I was kind of expecting the usual messy cleanup situation, which makes me sigh before I even start. But nope, this has been such a relief. Food, milk, random little dirty marks, they all just wipe off so quickly. One minute I’m annoyed about the mess, and the next I’m like, okay, that was actually easy. It’s made packing up after meals so much less stressful.
